It also ranks third in the production and export of apples and tangerines. And it ranks fourth in the export of pistachios, walnuts, chestnuts and lentils.

The value of Turkish exports of agricultural products in the first months of this year reached about 13.5 billion dollars, setting a record in Turkey’s history, registering a growth of 22%. Thus, agricultural exports constitute 13% of the total Turkish exports.
